Pakistan has a very beautiful land. It is great blessing of Allah. the land of Pakistan is divided into the following areas.

1-Mountain areas
2-Plataeu
3- Plain Areas
4- Desert Areas
5- River Areas
6- Mountain Areas
Theses are very high areas with steep slopes and high peaks. These areas are divided into two parts.
Northern Mountains
These mountain include Himalaya Karakoram and Hindukush mountain ranges. Muree hills are also in Himalaya range. The average height of these ranges is 2000 to 3000 metres from sea level.
Western Mountains
Western Mountains include several ranges of Sulaiman Mountains. Its height is up to 1000 meters. Mostly these mountains are dry.
Plateau
Plateau areas are higher than plain and lower than mountains. There are two famous plateaus- Potohar Plateau and Balochistan Plateau. Potohar Plateau is between the Jehlum river and the Indus river.
Desert Areas
Deserts are sandy areas. These are very dry places. Thal and Cholistan are the famous deserts.
Plain Areas
The areas of centeral Pakistan like as Punjab and Sindh areas are plains. Rivers and rains have made the land fertile. Many crops are cultivated in plain areas.
River Areas
Rivers cover a vast land of Pakistan. They irrigate vast areas of Punjab and Sindh. There are five rivers in Pakistan Indus-Chenab-Jehlum-Raviand sutlej
